General settings

Default gallery folder

Here you can select the default gallery folder for all your galleries. Extreme Thumbnail Generator will create a new sub-folder with the name specified in the Default gallery sub-folder name field in the folder specified in the By default all galleries are saved into a sub-folder of field.

If the folder with the given name already exists in the default gallery folder, then Extreme Thumbnail Generator will add a 3-digit number to the folder name. For example: Gallery000, Gallery001 and so on.

If you check the Clear folder before generating the gallery box, the Extreme Thumbnail Generator will delete all files in the gallery folder before the gallery is generated.

Auto EXIF usage

Extreme Thumbnail Generator can read the EXIF information from the image files when they are added to the image list. To enable it check the Use image EXIF data when image are added to the list.

If you check the Add EXIF < Image description > tag to the Long image description then Extreme Thumbnail Generator will try to extract the EXIF: Image description tag and add its value to the Long description of the image.

If you check the Add EXIF < User comment > tag to the Long image description then Extreme Thumbnail Generator will try to extract the EXIF: User comment tag and add its value to the Long description of the image.

If you check the Auto rotate images using EXIF < Orientation > tag then Extreme Thumbnail Generator will try to extract the EXIF: Orientation tag and rotate the image clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the tag value.
