Extreme Thumbnail Generator. Getting started.

Getting started

Creating a thumbnail image gallery using Extreme Thumbnail Generator is extremely easy. You can create a beautiful web photo album with just a few mouse clicks! Take a look:

Step 1.

Run Extreme Thumbnail Generator. The new project is automatically created and opened. Now you can add images to your gallery.

You can add individual images to your gallery using the button or menu item Images | Add images | Images, or all images from a folder using the button or menu item Images | Add images | Folder. Or simply drag and drop files and folders from Windows Explorer right into the image list. Click Next button to proceed to the next step.

Step 2.

Here you must enter the Gallery title, select the Destination folder and the Gallery template.

All files generated by Extreme Thumbnail Generator will be automatically saved into the Destination folder and its sub-folders.

When you select a gallery template a small preview of the future gallery is shown to the right of the template list, so you do not have to generate the gallery just to find out what this template looks like.

Step 3.

Project and gallery options. Here you can adjust the look of thumbnail images, set image resizing options, modify page headers, footers and meta tags.

It is safe to skip this step for your first galleries because the default settings are just fine. Later, when you get some experience with Extreme Thumbnail Generator you will be able to fine-tune the look and feel of your galleries using the project options.

Step 4.

Click the Generate button.

Congratulations! You have created you own web photo album! Now you can click the View button to see the newly created gallery in your default web browser. And if you like what you see, you can easily publish the gallery using the Publish button.

If you are not satisfied with the results, you can go back to any step and adjust the gallery as you like.
