When a Download Project is selected on the Projects Tree and Extreme Picture Finder is not downloading anything, you can start the selected Project. To start a Project means to start downloading files from the Starting Address(es) of the Project. You can start the Project using one of the following start types:
Start / Resume
If the selected Download Project was never started before, Extreme Picture Finder will begin searching for files from the first Starting Address of the Project.
If the selected Project was stopped earlier, Extreme Picture Finder will read-in the Project's Download Log and resume downloading files from the place where the Project was stopped. It will not re-download files that were saved earlier.
Menu command: Download | Start / Resume
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + R
Toolbar button:
Update
This start type can be used to download new files if the Project was finished before, for example from the site that is often updated. Extreme Picture Finder will read-in the Project's Download Log and begin searching for new Target Files from the first Starting Address. All the pages will be re-downloaded and re-analyzed to find new Target Files. Extreme Picture Finder will not re-download Target Files that were saved earlier.
Menu command: Download | Update
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + U
Toolbar button:
Restart
This start type can be used to re-download all the Target Files of the selected Project. Extreme Picture Finder will clear the Download Log of the Project and begin searching for Target Files from the first starting address. All Target Files will be re-downloaded, even if they are already on the hard drive. This start type is useful when tuning the Project Properties or when all Target Files were deleted from the hard drive.
