Is there a way find pictures on the Internet without spending hours switching between different search engines and clicking every thumbnail you like, just to find out that the full-size picture is no longer there? In fact, there is! Extreme Picture Finder is fully-automatic software that can search all major search engines using your keywords and save the results to your hard disk without any extra effort from your side!

Let's take a closer look at the program. Example below shows how to find and download full-size pictures of the "Siamese cat" with size of at least 300x300 pixels and file size of at least 50 KB.

First of all you have to create a new Search project. Simply click the button on the toolbar of the main program window or use menu command Search - New search... (keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + N). This command opens the New Search Wizard window shown below.

Now you have to enter your keyword ("Siamese cat" in our example). Basically, this is it. You can safely click Finish button and Extreme Picture Finder will start to find, download and save pictures of the Siamese cats using default settings. But the default settings suggest the program to download thumbnails (as this is the fastest way to get thousands of results) allowing users to choose which full-size images they want and download them with a single click of the button. But we wanted to make the program download full-size pictures automatically, so click Next button to proceed to the next step.

This step allows you to choose the search mode. Extreme Picture Finder offers 5 different search modes:

• Only thumbnails
• Only full-size images
• Thumbnails and full-size images
• Full-size and related images
• All images

"Related images" are the images which are located on the page where the result full-size is located. Those images are not required for this example, so you must choose the Only full-size images mode and click Next button.

Next steps allow you to choose which search engines you want to use, folder on your hard disk where you want to save the downloaded results and the last step allows you to open the advanced search properties window by checking the Show advanced search properties box. You have to check this box and click Finish button.

The Search properties window allows you to modify all search settings, including file and image size limits. Now select the Limits - File size section, check the Do not download small images, less than box and enter "50" in the corresponding edit field. This will tell Extreme Picture Finder that we want full-size and related image files to be at least 50 KB in size.

Now you have to select the Limits - Image size section. This section allows you to specify minimum and maximum picture size in pixels and specify any picture size to exclude. In this example we need pictures to be at least 300x300 pixels, so check the Min. image width box and enter "300" in corresponding edit field. Then check the Min. image height box and enter "300" as well, just like the screenshot below suggests.

Now you can click OK button and Extreme Picture Finder will start working. Also you can make the above settings default by clicking the Make these properties default for all searches... button.
