How to display EXIF data on gallery pages

You can display any EXIF tag on web photo gallery pages using Extreme Thumbnail Generator special tags. The special tags allow you to display any image-related information automatically. For example, image width and height in pixels, image file size in Kilobytes, image file name and so on.

OK, lets say you want to display image file size and EXIF: Creation date tag under each thumbnail in the gallery. To set up the text you want to see under every thumbnail go to the Options step and select the Thumbnails tab. In the Thumbnail title section uncheck all boxes except for the Custom text. In the edit field below the Custom text box enter the following text:

Created on [#image.exif_creation_date#]. Size: [#image.filesize#].

EXIF data in thumbnail title

In the above example the [#image.exif_creation_date#] and [#image.filesize#] are the special tags. They are replaced with the actual values during the web photo gallery creation process, so on the gallery pages you will see the following thumbnail title:

Created on 06 November 2007. Size: 354 KB.

If you want to display other EXIF or image file information you can select different special tags using the [...] button. This button opens the Insert special tag window where you can choose which tag to use.
